Frequently asked questions

About 5 minutes to publish a basic competition: name, dates, location, divisions, price. Around 20 minutes once you fine-tune your divisions, add your partners and set up detailed scoring.

Individual, team (duos, trios, more), and hybrid races run in stations with heat starts. A single competition can mix several formats and as many divisions as you want.

No. You can run a full competition without the pack. Chip timing is an add-on at 600 € per weekend, ideal for hybrid races or timed sprints.

Payments land directly on your Stripe Connect account. Throwdown's fee is paid by the athlete at registration, so you keep your ticket price. Payouts follow Stripe's standard schedule, no manual transfer from us.

Yes, it's our obsession. We have built Throwdown for nearly two years, end to end, and we take the time to build everything properly. On event day, your data and your athletes' data stay protected and available.
