A division is a team composition, a level, a price and a number of places.
How you cut your divisions decides everything downstream, from the heat schedule to the final leaderboard. A division carries a team composition, one or more levels, a price and a number of places, and each one runs its own registration life. You create as many as you need, and the shape of your competition never has to look like someone else's.
What it does
Seven named levels
Scaled, intermediate, RX, master, teens, adaptive and elite. One division can carry several at once.
Capped or uncapped
A cap closes the division the moment it is reached. With no cap it stays open, which suits an online round with no venue to fill.
Age brackets
A minimum age, a maximum age, measured on the day of the competition or at the end of the calendar year to match your federation.
Staggered opening
A division can open and close its registrations on dates of its own, apart from the rest of the event.
A price per division
Each division has its own price, and early bird as well as promo codes apply to it with no extra setting.
Waiting list
Once full, athletes queue up, and you hold a released place for one of them with a time limited invitation.

It flips to sold out on its own as soon as paid entries reach the cap, and any new order is refused. The next people in join that division waiting list.

You see the queue in arrival order, with your own notes on each person. Holding a place sends an invitation that expires after the delay you set, forty eight hours by default, and the place then moves on to the next in line.

Yes. The division card shows the total, the places left, or nothing at all. The setting lives on the division, so two divisions of the same event can say different things.

Yes. A workout carries level subcategories, and the leaderboard either ranks them in the announced order or merges them, weighting each level by a percentage you set.

Yes, a division can be closed or merged into another one, with a note explaining the move to the athletes it affects.
