The leaderboard, one column, one workout description. Every reveal is a switch.
A competition loses its suspense when the full leaderboard is readable before the last heat. It loses it just as fast when an athlete discovers the workout three hours before running it while their rivals got it the night before. So every public facing thing has its own switch, and while that switch is off the data does not leave the server. This is not hiding at display time, it is a response that holds nothing.

The content of the workout and its score format stay hidden on the public schedule and on the venue screens.
Scheduled reveal
A date and a time are enough, the description drops on its own at the right moment with nobody touching a button.
Anonymous leaderboard
One mode publishes ranks and scores without the names, and each viewer still sees their own row named.
Hideable groups
A sub leaderboard created by a cut can be hidden too, long enough to check the scores before the announcement.
Nothing leaks through the live feed
The realtime channel carries no data at all, only a refresh signal, and the page then asks again for what it is allowed to see.
