The top of the leaderboard goes to the final

One cut line per division, and the last workout runs with the qualifiers.

Running a final means knowing who is in it, fitting it into the schedule of the day, and deciding whether the points already earned still count. The cut is set when the heats of the last workout are generated, and the leaderboard then splits into groups that each carry their own points rule.

What it does

The cut set at generation

When you generate the heats of the last workout, you keep only the top entries of each division.

The cut stays recorded

The number kept is stored on the division and workout pair, so a later regeneration picks the same cut back up.

The leaderboard split into groups

A division splits into named sub leaderboards, finals and consolation for instance, each with its own tab.

Restart or carry over

A group counts only the workouts that follow the cut, or adds the points already earned before it.

No point counted twice

The workouts already folded into the carried total are remembered, so the total never inflates itself.

Groups inside groups

A group can be split again, which allows a semi final and then a final on the same division.

Qualifiers from an online round

A final division links to its qualifier division, and the top of the table is imported along with its invitation.

On an online qualifier leaderboard, yes by default, and a setting removes it for organisers who would rather announce the qualified athletes themselves.

Yes, by regenerating the heats of that workout with another number. Heats that already ran are kept by ticking them.

The overall tie-break lands before the cut, on the number of first places, on a decider workout you name, or as a shared rank depending on the mode picked.

That is your call, group by group. A carry over final adds what was earned before the cut, a clean final counts its own workouts only.

It is created as a final and linked to the online qualifier whose divisions it inherits. One button imports the top of each division, and you decide whether the points travel with them.
