The flex option, a refundable spot
A small add-on at checkout, and an injury no longer costs the whole entry.
A non refundable entry makes people hesitate, especially six months out. A freely refundable one leaves you exposed to a costless withdrawal the night before. The flex option settles between the two. The athlete pays an add-on you price yourself, and gets in exchange the right to cancel against a refund that shrinks as the event gets closer.
What it does
A scale known upfront
A hundred percent at thirty one days or more, fifty percent between thirty and seven days, nothing under seven days.
The add-on is never returned
The option price and the fees are never given back. Only the entry share follows the scale.
The amount frozen at purchase
The refundable share is fixed on the order, so a later price change reopens no calculation.
Proof if you want it
With no document required, the request settles at once. With one, it goes to review and you decide what happens next.
The place frees itself
An accepted cancellation drops the order out of the occupied places, so the division reopens for the next athlete.
The amount to return, in writing
You get an email telling you how much to pay back and to whom, with the order reference.

You do. The platform applies the scale, freezes the amount, frees the place and writes to you with what you owe. The refund then leaves from your own Stripe dashboard or by bank transfer. We never issue a refund out of your money.

No, it is fixed and written into our terms, which keeps the conversation short on the day a request lands. You only choose the option price and whether proof is required.

In whole days before the day of the event, in the venue time zone. A request filed at any hour on the thirty first day out therefore counts as thirty one days.

Each paid share covered by the option carries its own frozen amount, and the total you owe is broken down share by share.

Your call. A checkbox asks for an attachment and sends the request to manual review. Without it, the athlete cancels on their own and you are told the amount.
