Cancel or change my registration

Once you are registered, you may need to cancel, change division or replace a teammate. On Throwdown, all of these requests go through the competition organizer. The platform does not handle self-service cancellations or refunds.
Contact the organizer
The organizer is your single point of contact for any change. From My registrations, open your ticket and use the Contact the organizer button. State your request clearly: your reference number, the division involved, and what you need (cancel, change, replace an athlete).
What the organizer can do
From their space, the organizer keeps control over the registrations for their competition. They can:
- cancel your registration,
- move you to another division (subject to available seats),
- update the details of an athlete on the team.
These actions depend on the organizer and their policy. Reach out early: a full division or a competition that is close can limit what changes are possible.
Refunds
Throwdown does not issue refunds automatically. Any refund is at the organizer's discretion and is handled directly between you and them, outside the platform. The terms (amount, timing, conditions) are set by the organizer of each competition.
Right of withdrawal
Registering for a competition is a leisure service provided on a set date. As such, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, in line with the terms and conditions. No cancellation is therefore guaranteed by right after payment.
Named tickets
Tickets are named and non-transferable. You cannot hand your spot to someone else without going through the organizer. For a member change within a team, send the request via the Contact the organizer button. To understand how to manage a team's lineup, see create or join a team.
