Display your leaderboard on a big screen

Updated: May 2026

On the day, your leaderboard should not stay on an operator's laptop. Throwdown's Cast screen broadcasts your leaderboard full screen, branded, updated in real time. It is a real production tool: one operator drives it, the crowd watches.

A full-screen, branded scoreboard

The Cast screen shows a full-screen leaderboard in 16:9, built for projection. It displays times, the rank per division and the "Final time" label in fullscreen mode. It stays readable from a distance, made for a big screen facing the crowd.

One control window, one public screen

Cast runs on two synced windows:

  • A control window your operator drives from their station.
  • A projected window, plugged into the big screen, that the crowd sees.

Both windows stay synced in real time. The operator keeps control without ever showing the crowd what they are doing.

The finisher photo in one click

When an athlete crosses the line, click their time from the control window: it pushes onto the big screen for the photo. The finisher sees their time behind them, the crowd cheers, you get your highlight moment.

On any screen

The Cast screen opens in a browser. No software to install, no proprietary hardware. You plug it into whatever you have on site:

  • an LED wall;
  • a connected TV;
  • a tablet;
  • a projector.

Where the times come from

For hybrid races with the chip timing pack, times flow in automatically at the finish line and show live on Cast. It is true live, with no manual entry.

For functional fitness, you centralize score entry and Throwdown computes the ranking automatically. Cast then broadcasts that leaderboard onto the big screen.
