Our authentication layer, our database and our file storage are installed on the server described in the first entry. They are entrusted to no third-party provider.

3. Intellectual property

• The site, the application and all of their content, text, logos, images, interfaces and code, are protected by copyright law and by trademark law.
• Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without written authorization is prohibited.
• The systematic or repeated extraction of published data, in particular by automated scraping, is prohibited outside the public feed that we make available.

4. Role of the platform

Throwdown is a technical platform that connects organizers of sports events with participants. Events are organized under the sole responsibility of their organizers, who are the sellers of the registrations, the tickets and the items offered on their page.

Depending on the country where the organizer is established, the price is collected on a payment account opened in the organizer's name, or collected by Throwdown in the organizer's name and on the organizer's behalf under a collection mandate. Both arrangements are detailed in the organizer terms and conditions.

Everyone's rights and obligations are set out in the athlete terms and conditions and in the organizer terms and conditions, which contain in particular the applicable liability clauses.

5. Personal data and trackers

6. Reporting content and point of contact

The address contact@throwdown.live is our single point of contact, within the meaning of articles 11 and 12 of regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services, for the competent authorities as well as for the users of the service. Exchanges may be held in French or in English.

Anyone may report to us content published by an organizer that they consider unlawful, misleading or fraudulent. From an account, the report button present on every competition page lets you choose a ground and explain precisely the reasons for the report. The same account may report the same competition only once, and may add to a report by writing to us. Without an account, a report is sent to contact@throwdown.live and must state the address of the page concerned, the ground, an explanation precise enough to be useful, the name and email address of its author, and a statement that the information given is accurate and provided in good faith.

We acknowledge receipt of every report by email. We examine it diligently, objectively and without arbitrariness, then we inform its author of the decision taken and of the available means of redress. The identity of the author of a report is not disclosed to the organizer, except where the law or an authority requires it of us. The measures we may take, their grounds and the ways to challenge them are set out in the organizer terms and conditions.

7. Consumer mediation

In line with article L. 612-1 of the French consumer code, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute between you and Throwdown, after having tried to resolve it directly with us through a written complaint and within the year following that complaint. The mediator we come under is CM2C, 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France, phone +33 1 89 47 00 14. Throwdown is neither affiliated with, nor a partner of, nor a reseller for these organizations, and runs no official event under these trademarks.

These names are quoted purely descriptively, to designate the competition formats that the organizers using the platform put on. This use falls under article 14 of regulation (EU) 2017/1001 on the European Union trade mark, which allows a third party to use a trade mark where it is necessary to indicate the intended purpose of a product or service and where that use is in accordance with honest practices in industrial or commercial matters.
