The team format comes from the division

You don't choose how many you are: the division sets the lineup. Depending on the competition, a division can be individual, duo, team or mixed, with a set number of men and women expected.

In the Registration tab of the competition page, each division shows its team lineup and price. Pick the one that matches your group.

One person registers everyone

The captain (or delegate) completes the registration for the full team. After choosing the division and reading the standards, you fill in one form per member:

• first name, last name and email of each teammate,
• gender, already pre-filled based on the division format,
• any goodies and sizes (t-shirts).

You then add the team name and your club or box, and move on to payment.

Paying for the team

In most cases, payment is a single transaction covering the whole team, paid by the person who registers it. Your teammates pay nothing on their side. The breakdown shows before you confirm, with the ticket, any discount if you have a promo code, the Throwdown service fee and the total. Once paid, the team is registered and you find the recap in your registrations.

If the organizer offers split payment, you pay at least your share. For each teammate, you enter their email and tick I pay their share if you are paying it for them. Otherwise, they receive an email with a link. There they complete their information and pay their share themselves, before the deadline set by the organizer. The team's spot is reserved as soon as you pay. In your registration, the Per-athlete payment section shows who has paid and lets you copy a teammate's link or pay their share. If not all shares are paid by the deadline, the registration is canceled and the organizer refunds the shares already paid in full, service fees included.

Changing a member after registration

As long as the organizer keeps editing open, the person who registered the team edits the members' information. Open your registration in My registrations and use the Edit my registration button, with the deadline below it when the organizer has set one. There you can change a teammate's name, email and phone number, and so replace them. A teammate linked to the registration through their own account sees Edit my information and only changes their own line. Once editing is closed, or to change division, contact the organizer.
