Which platform should you choose for your competition?
Throwdown, Scoring.fit, Competition Corner and Circle21 all handle online registration, built-in payment, heats and automatic ranking, with no subscription. What sets them apart is mostly price and event day. Throwdown takes 3% + 1.50 € per paid registration, against 5% + 1.55 € for Scoring.fit, 4% + 2 $ for Competition Corner and 4% + 1.50 € on Circle21's Professional plan. A free spot or a charity competition costs nothing on Throwdown. Throwdown is also the only one of the four to document professional chip timing, rented for 600 € per weekend, which matters for a hybrid race. Price, what you really pay
All four platforms charge on registration sales, with no subscription. Throwdown takes 3% + 1.50 € per registration, Scoring.fit 5% + 1.55 €, Competition Corner 4% + 2 $, Circle21 4% + 1.50 € on its Professional plan. These fees are added on top of the ticket price, so a lower commission means a cheaper registration for your athletes. Depending on your ticket price, on a competition of 200 places the gap can run into the hundreds of euros.

For a hybrid race, you want reliable times without a manual stopwatch. Throwdown rents a professional chip timing system, velcro transponders and a finish-line sensor, for the weekend. Times flow automatically into the ranking and your athletes get an experience close to an official race.
